How it all began
As a result of a 'business transfer', Corporate HR, MidtSim was established as a highly specialised simulation centre in Central Denmark Region in 2016. Before 2016, MidtSim was organised as a skills training centre under the name of SkejSim and was owned by Central Denmark Region, Aarhus University and Aarhus University Hospital. The history of SkejSim dates back to 1999.
The transformation from SkejSim to MidtSim took place in 2016 in order to deploy a systematic and structured approach to simulation in Central Denmark Region and to maximise the effects of simulation across the region and ensure quality of simulation-based activities and simulation faculty.
Our facilities
MidtSim's facilities are easily accessible for learners as our centre is situated directly opposite of Aarhus University Hospital, the largest of the five hospital units in Central Denmark Region and one of MidtSim's closest collaborators.
Also, MidtSim is the local simulation centre of Aarhus University Hospital.
